Thought would be perfect for this book, and it was filled with great songs by The Black Keys, Rolling Stones, Zepplin, Jack White and Muse. But one of my Critique Partners burned me a CD of music she Q) Do you have any habits that get you in the writing frame of mind? Kena ended up being a witty heroine who took things into her own But Luc ended up being more of an Alpha/Beta blend. I wanted a strong heroine and an alpha male. So the book took a twist and became so much more than I ever imagined. ![]() But after I came back from the 2014 Romantic Times convention in New Orleans, I was inspired to write something with a Vodou/NOLA flair. ![]() Originally the story was going to be completely different when I wrote the first 5000 words or so of the book. Q) How did you dream up the dynamics of your characters? ![]() ![]() ![]() The Masterpiece is Rivers newest book and I was thrilled to see that the blurb on the book said she was getting back to her roots with this book. Her last few books were not to my taste, but she is one of those authors that I just continue to read because I know I will still enjoy reading her books even if I don't love them like some of her older works. I have not read all of Francine Rivers books but pretty close to it, and whenever she releases a new book I am happy to buy it right away. I read a bunch of her books during my college years and I have very fond memories surrounding her books.
